I just now about Krugle.com for few days. It is best search engine for develepors I know. It is great and fast way how to search info, or useful class for you, or just info about some algorithm and so on.And today I’ve found out, that there is ActionScript added, so you can search ActionScript code in open source Flash/ActionScript projects. Veeeeeeeery useful.

Enjoy.

Speech in Flash

Do you want to have speech in your Flash applications, try Vocalise TTS. It’s Flash component which create movieclip on your stage or in library, there is different types of voices or premade characters on http://www.digitalcuriosity.com. It looks good. As far as I know it is just generated movieclip through JSFL and I dont know if it is possible to speak random text after creating character (i think not) but it’s interesting flash component anyway.
Enjoy.

JSFL commands repository

I have created JSFL commands repository for all Flash Developers for sharing them. Original idea was submitted by Eric Dolecki

We all have a few JSFL gems laying around. Some to help our build process when compiling multiple SWFs, some which are commands to streamline our workflow, etc. I think it would be a good idea to get a repository of these somewhere on the web - a’la layer51 proto or that new snippets find that Jim Rutherford spotted.

I am willing to help with this, or maybe there already is a spot on the web that I haven’t found yet, or perhaps most people don’t seem to need JSFL scripts.

See it directly on Eric’s site.
