How to install older version of Flash Player for IE
Tuesday, December 5th, 2006How? Please let me know, I’m getting crazy… I’ve used Adobe uninstaller, restart system, and install new version (downloaded from Adobe.com site). I’ve rather installed both version (flashplayer9r16_winax.exe, flashplayer9r16_win.exe). I’ve checked older version 8.0.24 and so, if problem is in 9.0.16, but nothing works. Only possibility for me is installing latest 9.0.28 version from Adobe site. But I need test oder version,because of bugs in older flash player version and I have find workarounds. Btw.none of the flash player switchers works for IE 
Please help, i need it ASAP.

it didnt help
I’ve uninstal, restart, install, restart…. flash9.ocx is in c:\windows\system32\Macromed\Flash but IE is missing flash player

I had similar problems. I managed to install flash 8 in IE using the .msi version. You can get it here : http://www.vanduurenmedia.nl/install_flash_player_8.zip

I just went through regedit and deleted bunch of stuff by seaching ‘flash’, then i can install those files downloaded from adobe website.
