Speech in Flash
Thursday, June 30th, 2005Do you want to have speech in your Flash applications, try Vocalise TTS. It’s Flash component which create movieclip on your stage or in library, there is different types of voices or premade characters on http://www.digitalcuriosity.com. It looks good. As far as I know it is just generated movieclip through JSFL and I dont know if it is possible to speak random text after creating character (i think not) but it’s interesting flash component anyway.

I was looking for a Lip synching solution for flash and found this informatio when i visited their website they also had an extension that automaticaly lip syncs any wav file with very nice results which was perfect for some flash short animations i am making and will save a whole heap of time.Thanks for the heads up and i must say this company has some very impressive Flash extensions. PS check out their sample movies on their site i think they are cool!
