I have reported this to MM already, but I wanted to give a heads up. I have been able to freeze up my entire system three times in a row (as in must power down now) with this example with Firefox/Flash 8 (viewing in 7 now) WinXP/P4. First two by messing with the buttons a bit much (because nothing happened with “change blur” I clicked “generate new” a couple times quickly) and the last time without touching a thing. I have never been able to crash my entire system with AS before…

ups, i’m sorry, but i have firefox, and winXP or win2000 but never crashed system. I do not know, you can dowload FLA of this example and try it out, what is the problem. Does it happens when you are in post? or just on main page (maybeproblem is when movie is viewed with other Flash movies together)

didn’t mean to imply that I was blaming you…I haven’t been able to crash my system like this with infinite loops or any actionscript for that matter so I didn’t figure anyone could really program this failure, I am just worried about the scale of the Flash 8 failure and wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing it. I am afraid to look at other examples now because I risk taking down my computer. I did however look directly at the sample post itself the first and third time when my computer froze. The second time it was on the home page with many other examples.
