PSD on Stage

Friday, September 16th, 2005

Maybe i was not reading all stuff about Flash 8 I should, but today i was surprised, when I by mistake drag PSD file to Flash 8 stage. I know about new drag images to stage feature (finally), but I didn’t know about Photoshop Files (even with all effects).
Thanks Macromedia :)

Enjoy.

sure, i know, but for it works for Photoshop CS. Save it and drag it to 8ball, and it works as bitmap. Surely i cannot change anything in Flash, it’s just bitmap in Library :)

Yep it works (CS winxp )….but not on all psds! Still about time for the drag and drop, the psd support is just an added bonus !!

You can also right click while it’s in Flash and hit Edit with Photoshop - which opens up the PSD for editing - very handy for checking positioning etc.. before you optimize and publish
